LASTUJA by Hanni Koroma

LASTUJA is a made-to-order summer kitchen designed by interior architect Hanni Koroma. It is at the heart of our summer exhibition Mökki, around which the whole exhibition intertwines. This both beautiful and functional kitchen got its design inspiration from a traditional planing bench, which has traditionally been used as a working desk. It is made of massive elm wood, and can be ordered as per specific measurements and needs. LASTUJA is a beautifully versatile work space, creating a unique atmosphere and feel in a home.

“A kitchen is a place where in the evening you share stories and highlights of the day with one another. It is a place for the encounters that create little stories, “lastuja” – everyday stories.”
