Handcrafted Homeware

Lokal is home to a family of carefully handcrafted homeware and jewellery made of all-natural materials. Many items have been designed exclusively for Lokal in collaboration with the designers and makers themselves; some of our favourite names in contemporary Finnish craftsmanship and design. All products are made in small-scale series, whether as limited series or unnumbered, and can be purchased online and delivered directly to their new home.

With curated exhibitions both in Lokal Gallery on Annankatu in Helsinki as well as in our online gallery, we strive to serve you moments in which art, craftsmanship and sustainability merge, reflecting the harmony of nature in both essence, material and design. The artwork, homeware and handmade jewellery is all made by contemporary Finnish or Finland-based artists and artisans, and available to purchase through our webshop.
