Carlo Raymann (b. 1990) is a Helsinki‑based designer and maker. He holds a master’s degree in interior architecture from Aalto University. He works across furniture, sculpture and interior design. With a playful approach to wood, Raymann experiments with power tools and material processes in his sculptural practice. He is co‑founder of Minestrone Workshop, a Helsinki based studio dedicated to contemporary woodworking. Raymann’s characteristic approach to sculpture is the study and development of different working methods. Technology and material are combined with a close subject, such as fish, which are Carlo’s old acquaintances from before his studies.
