The 1st of May is a day to celebrate for many different reasons. May Day is celebrated as the workers’ day and  in many countries as an ancient spring festival. We celebrate Vappu with colour and and joy here at Lokal and would like to share some of our favourite banquet dishes with you.

Pickled herring, some freshly chopped greens – use a cookie cutter for cucumber flowers, spicy pulled oats with blue cheese and meatballs in tomato sauce with green kale.
