Annika Tuovinen | PÄRE Wall Lamp

Annika Tuovinen (born 1995) is an interior architect living in Järvenpää, who is currently completing her master's degree in spatial and furniture design at Aalto University. Her background as a surface finisher and in the restoration of valuable objects in Helsinki inspires her in particular in relating to themes of the nature of materials, sustainability perspectives and cultural history. As a designer, she is fascinated by the dialogue of opposites on the levels of form, material and even values. In particular, considering the significance of design through both conscious and subconscious consciousness is a theme that touches her - what makes objects valuable to their users and worth caring for.
