Heli Hiltunen

Heli Hiltunen works with the themes of memory, sensory perception and looking. In the paintings presented at Lokal, she depicts imagined places that are united by beauty and harmony, dreaminess, and an almost surreal colour palette. Heli Hiltunen lives and works in Helsinki. In 2001, she received the Ars Fennica, Finland’s most significant fine art award, and her works are part of many Finnish and Nordic art collections.
