“The exhibition consists of reliefs cut from plywood and painted with acrylics. The subjects – animals, trees, birds – have been recurring themes in my work for a long time, appearing in prints, illustrations, and textiles. In a few of the pieces, I was inspired to explore less familiar shades of violet, combined for example with orange.”
