Sofia Guridi

Sofía Guridi is a designer from Chile, based in Finland. Her work focuses on the intersection of textiles, electronics and biomaterials for creating soft interfaces. By combining traditional knowledge with material exploration, her experience ranges from artistic installations in Latin America and Europe, to applied research in academic contexts. She is currently part of the Fashion/Textile Futures research group at Aalto University, where she is pursuing her PhD in Sustainable Smart Textiles.
