Saija Starr

Painter Saija Starr (b. 1980) was born in a small town, and now lives in Helsinki. Starr mostly paints with oil on canvas. Her paintings can be described as expressive and colours play an important role in her work. Starr’s recent works have depicted nature, human nature, and recollections of places that have left a strong mark on her; among them islands, mountains, seasides and gardens. She works in her studio in Herttoniemi.
