“Inspiration and ideas often come through my everyday work with wood in the workshop, and from traditional carpentry. I use my hands to design utensils and furniture, and I let ideas rest in the drawers of my brain for a long time. Before making a clear plan of design, I make mock-up models, evaluate them and make new ones. I just work with my hands until the design is complete.”
